My fiancée and I stayed at pereybere hotel for 10 days. The best budget hotel. Hotel staff were helpful, friendly and made our stay memorable. Our flight was departing late at night and we check out late at no extra cost.

Rooms were clean, spacious,and well furnished. Location was excellent. The hotel is at a peaceful village, with one of the most beautiful beaches of Mauritius. There are some good restaurants.

You should definitely rent a car and wander around the island, the hotel is at the best location to begin.

Wonderful hotel, staff is very friendly and the hotel does look good. Rooms was clean and comfortable and we had a wonderful time. Beach is just over the road and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel.

We had a most enjoyable stay at Pereybere....5* service received from the hotel personnel...nothing was too much...free wi-fi access, good location, clean, well-appointed apartment...we couldn't ask for much more.

A really terrific small hotel/apt. in a great location across the road from the beach in Mauritius.

I stumbled into this small hotel in Pereybere on the north east coast of Mauritius by accident and stayed for 38 nights in a spacious and well equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apt. with air con in the bedrooms. (Actually, I was in one of the hotel rooms for 5 nights because the apts. were so popular, and the hotel room was large and very comfortable too!) I couldn't have been happier with the staff who were smiling and happy to do whatever needed to be done. The location is across the road from a lovely smallish beach with shade provided by filao (casuarina) trees. The water is great for swimming with no nasties to beware of. I went to the market in Goodlands and bought great foods and was able to cook happily in a well appointed kitchen. The are many lovely little restaurants and bars in the immediate area so you could be out and about all the time.
There is excellent bus service in Mauritius for very reasonable fares and several of the routes stop right outside the hotel. We were able to go to Port Louis easily and from there to the other coasts.
The main language in Mauritius is French and my French improved hugely. The staff spoke both French and English.
This hotel was a real find. They have a pool but I never bothered with it with the magnificent ocean steps away. I can't imagine why you wouldn't love this hotel! And if you need a smaller apt., they also have two1 bedroom 'studios'.

This is my 3rd trip to Mauritius, family being my main reason for going. I never get tired of the beauty of the island and the people. For many years, we found it difficult to find a presentable hotel until we came across the Pereybere Hotel & Apts. With the prices quickly rising in Mauritius, the Pereybere Hotel has managed to keep their prices affordable while still maintaining a level of high standard to that of any top of the range hotel. The staff, I particularly remember a young man named Kamlesh, were more than happy to help out with anything they could.

The rooms were very well kept, clean and all had air conditioning.

The hotel itself sits just opposite Pereybere Beach where you can book boat trips out to sea, eat many local dishes and meet fantastic people. The best part about this hotel (for me) is its close proximity to Julie's Bar, a favourite watering hole of mine for many years.

Although we only opted for just the room, for only a few Euro more we could have had a large 2-bedroom self catered room. It was a bargain either way. I would probably recommend getting a self catered apartment so you can buy the fresh catch from the local fisherman that sell at the end of each day and prepare it from your room.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay in north Mauritius.
